The theme for 2026 is &#8216;<strong>Renewed Through the Living Word<\/strong>&#8216;. Let us all learn to empty ourselves and be renewed by God&#8217;s word.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Joint service and holy communion will take place next Sunday 26\/7.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Sunday School will resume on 16th August. Church is <strong>in search for new Sunday School teachers and helpers<\/strong> for the coming school year. If you are interested in serving, please contact the church staff.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Gift Aid<\/strong> is an arrangement that allows charities (including churches) to reclaim tax on a donation made by a UK taxpayer. This means every \u00a31 donation will be worth 25p more, at no extra cost to the giver. Rev Wai Cheung Wong will be on leave 20-24\/7 inclusive. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Prayer Requests<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">For church ministry<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul style=\"color:#000000a3;font-size:16px;font-style:normal;font-weight:200\" class=\"wp-block-list has-text-color\">\n<li>The church theme for 2026 is &#8216;<strong>Renewed Through the Living Word<\/strong>&#8216;. We pray that the Lord will continue to draw us along, using this new theme and related plans to help brothers and sisters in Christ learn, listen, and allow their spiritual lives to be renewed and transformed.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Pray for the <strong>pastoral team<\/strong> of the church, that the Lord may keep them and watch over their physical, mental and spiritual wellbeing.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Pray for the <strong>Children&#8217;s Sunday School ministry<\/strong>, particularly the Kindergarten\u2013P1 and P6\u2013S1 classes, as well as the after church children&#8217;s gathering. Ask the Lord to raise up and equip suitable people to serve in these ministries, so that together they may help nurture and strengthen the children&#8217;s faith and spiritual growth.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">For individual needs<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul style=\"color:#000000a3;font-size:16px;font-style:normal;font-weight:200\" class=\"wp-block-list has-text-color\">\n<li>Pray for those who are <strong>physically weak, mentally tired and emotionally burdened<\/strong> these days. Pray for peace of mind and body, spiritual rest and strength.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The <strong>university students<\/strong> have finished their semester or will soon graduate. We pray that the Lord will guide them through their summer break and post-graduation plans, granting them peace, protection, and wisdom from Him to lead them on their future paths.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">For the world&nbsp;<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul style=\"color:#000000a3;font-size:16px;font-style:normal;font-weight:200\" class=\"wp-block-list has-text-color\">\n<li>Please continue to pray for <strong>peace and the political situation around the world<\/strong>. Although the United States and Iran agreed to end hostilities last month, tensions have risen again.
